Why we built it
Across Uganda, the same problem kept showing up: a bursar calling parents one by one, a SACCO chasing repayments, a clinic losing patients to missed appointments. WhatsApp groups get muted. Calls do not scale.
SMS still reaches everyone — on any phone, with no app and no data. We set out to make sending it as simple as a normal text, with local payments, fair pricing, and tools that respect the people receiving the message.
