Terms of service

These terms govern your use of MobiReach, a business messaging service operated by Anathoth Technologies Ltd. By creating a workspace, topping up, or sending messages, you agree to them on behalf of your organization.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity in your workspace, for keeping sign-in details secure, and for ensuring everyone you invite follows these terms. We verify phone and email at sign-up, and may require step-up verification for sensitive actions.

Credits and payments

SMS credits are purchased in UGX via MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, or bank transfer. Credits do not expire. The cost of a campaign is shown before you confirm a send. Free test credits cannot be transferred, used for production API traffic, or used for suspicious campaigns.

Service availability

We work to deliver every message reliably across networks, but delivery also depends on mobile operators and factors outside our control. We may suspend a workspace that breaches these terms or our policies below.

Privacy policy

We treat the contact lists you upload as your data. We process them only to deliver your messages and provide the service — never to market to your contacts ourselves.

What we store

Contact phone numbers (normalized to +256 format), the fields you choose to store, message content you send, delivery results, and account and billing details. Phone numbers are masked for team members who do not have full-contact or export permission.

AI writing assistant

When you use AI to improve a message, only the message text is processed — never your contact list. Suggestions preserve your placeholders exactly and never invent amounts, dates, or offers.

Retention

You can delete contacts and campaigns at any time. Opt-out and unsubscribe records are retained for at least 12 months so we can honor them, even after a contact is removed.

Anti-spam policy

MobiReach is for messages people expect and want. Send only to contacts who have a relationship with your organization and a reason to hear from you.

Opt-out is always honored

A "Reply STOP to opt out" line is added automatically on the first message to each contact. When someone replies STOP — or you record an opt-out manually — they are added to your workspace suppression list and excluded from future sends right away. Opting out is free for the recipient.

Prohibited content

Lotteries, gambling, unlicensed financial schemes, "you won" promotions, and other deceptive or unlawful content are not allowed. The composer flags risky terms before you send, and high-risk campaigns are reviewed.

Compliance

Compliance is built into the product, not bolted on. These controls run on every send.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MobiReach to send unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, or harassing content; to impersonate another organization through a sender ID you are not entitled to; or to send to lists obtained without a legitimate relationship.

Sender IDs are reviewed against your organization details and use case before approval. Abuse of the service — including ignoring opt-outs or sending prohibited content — may result in a campaign block, sender ID suspension, or workspace closure.
